Installation and programme by Colm Lally

The Beautiful Children consists of a series of scenes that collide to re-animate the stomach chamber of the Iguanodon dinosaur, inspired by the famous Iguanodon Dinner of 1853. The chamber is reconstructed using strips of red plastic, more commonly found in meat coolers. This porous structure allows audiences to enter the space from any point. The programme takes place as a collage of events.
